What is mindful eating?
Mindful eating is eating with intention and without distraction. It means deliberately tuning in, without judgement, to the thoughts and body cues that guide eating choices, as well as the sensory experience of eating.
Why try mindful eating?
Research has shown that mindful eating may help people control binge eating and overeating, enjoy food and feel more in touch with their internal hunger and fullness cues.
